How this site handles information

What you enter
The checker asks for a UK postcode and answers about a proposed parking area, property and roadside conditions. It does not ask for your name, full postal address or account details.
How the postcode is used
Your postcode is sent directly from your browser to Postcodes.io so the checker can identify the relevant administrative area. My Street Status does not save the postcode or your checker answers in its own database.
Hosting and technical logs
The hosting provider and Postcodes.io may process basic technical information such as an IP address, browser details, request time and requested page for security, reliability and abuse prevention. Their own privacy terms apply to that processing.
Cookies and analytics
My Street Status does not currently use advertising, behavioural analytics or marketing cookies. No optional tracking has been added. Essential hosting or security technology may operate where needed to deliver the service.
External council links
The site links to councils, GOV.UK, the Planning Portal, FindMyStreet and other official services. Those websites control their own information and privacy practices once you follow a link.
Contractor enquiries
If a contractor emails to register interest in the pilot, the supplied business and contact details are used to reply and assess possible participation. They are not published or shared without permission and are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for that purpose.

Changes
This notice will be updated before adding analytics, advertising, contact forms or lead-generation features. Non-essential cookies will not be introduced without the appropriate information and consent controls.
